• Hey everyone. In my e-shop private customers can register via the WP default registration form and can immediately login-in; while wholesale customers need to fill in a custom form I created which sends their info to my email account, then I create an account for each wholesale customer manually using the info they sent. Eventually, I send a confirmation email to the new wholesale customer with their username and password.
My question is: instead of sending them a password I chose can I provide them a link where they can set their password and login?

    Thanks in advance.

  • That’s kind of how WP works already – if you create the user but don’t tell them the password then they will be forced to do a password reset by clicking on the “lost password?” link on the login form.
