 * Hi,
 * Can you be more specific about the issue? What exactly you didn’t able to access?
 * Try to disable all the plugins via FTP [https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/](https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/)
   and check again, maybe it is caused by any of your plugins.

 * Yeah, as laranz says, you need to be more specific about what you mean by “I
   don’t have admin role”. What exactly happened?
 * Did someone set up the website and created a non-admin account for you?
 * Or have you always had administrative access on the website but something changed
   all of a sudden and you don’t see some stuff in the dashboard? Of this is the
   case, what were you doing before this happened?

 * Hi,
 * Thank you for your answers.
 * I run this website since 3 years as the same user.
 * But I never had the “admin” statut as a user.
 * When I check in “all users”, under the role column, I have “none” (“Aucun” in
   french).
 * Can I change that to become officially an admin ?

 * Hi,
 * What were you doing before this happened? Any code changes or plugin install/
   update?
 * If you have access to the Database, you can try this method:
    [https://tutes.in/how-to-change-wordpress-user-roles-using-mysql-database/](https://tutes.in/how-to-change-wordpress-user-roles-using-mysql-database/)
   make sure you did it with caution.

 * I did not change anything. It is like that since the beginning it seems.

 * I figured out, creating a new user and giving him admins statut following the
   method given by your link, that there is no “admin” statut on my installation.
 * The new user, turned into an admin in phpmyadmin, has now a “none” role.

 * You may want to reset your user roles and capabilities. As usual, make sure you
   have a good backup first!
 * Here’s one plugin to do it easily: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/reset-roles-and-capabilities/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/reset-roles-and-capabilities/)

 * Hi,
 * If still shows none means,
 * Maybe the word “Administrator” is translated to “none” Did you translate WordPress
   using any plugin or using POEdit? In that case please check that also.
 * Regards,
    laranz.
