• Hi There,

it’s my first time posting here. I have been trying to fix this issue of mine for quite a while with no success. I hope I will find somebody here to assist me.

I have purchased this theme called fitness and recently updated it to their latest version. Currently running on the latest version of WordPress as well. The theme came pre-installed with Revolution Slider and I made sure to purchase the latest license of the slider as well to have everything up to date.

I wanted to change the Album from the website, so I have purchased Essential Grid Plugin. For some reason, when I activate both essential Grid and RevSlider plugin, I no longer can access my Admin panel. When I shut down RevSlider, my Pannel is back…but the Main slider on my website vanishes. I can figure there is some kind of conflict between RevSlider Plugin et Essential Grid plugin ( which by the way uses RevSlider).

I checked all accross the web to find a solution with no success. I finally set WordPress Debug to check what the error message could be, and I have no idea what they mean.

    Can somebody assist here please?

Here is the WP-DEBUG error Log:

You should contact the company you purchased your theme from. I know there was a recent issue with the REvolution Slider, and I’m sure that they will have the most recent news as well as advise, fix or an update for you.

    Hi Janet,

Thanks for the reply. I have contacted both 8Grids the author of the theme ( it is not the same Fitness Theme ) I usually buy from themeforest, but this time I bought a theme from 8grids. Both 8Grids support and Essential Grid support are telling me they can’t assist. Essential Grid told me it has something to do with the Theme, and the Theme Support told me it has something to do with the Plugin…

So they are both returning me to the other one…

Try using your plugin with a different theme… do you get the same error?

Try using your theme without the plugin… do you get the same error?

That is how you figure which one it is and can then proceed to the proper support channel.

If the error “only” occurs when both are selected, then it sounds like you cannot use them together. Change your theme or the plugin.

Hi Janet…The Error Only occurs when Both Plugins are Active on the Theme I am using. I reverted to Twenty Fourteen and I do not have this Issue.

The Theme Uses Slider Revolution by Default for the Main Slider.

And Essential Grid uses Slider Revolution too Somehow…But When ever I activate Both Plugins with my theme, the admin page goes blank.

If I shut down any of the 2 plugins and leave 1 active, I do not have this issue. It leads me to believe that maybe Essential Grid is using it’s own instance of Revolution Slider and doesn’t like when another Instance is Active or Vise Versa.

I gotta find a way to make them work together :(. I just letf a request on Code Canyon Essential Grid’s Support page….I will see how it goes: http://codecanyon.net/item/essential-grid-wordpress-plugin/7563340/comments?page=50&filter=all#comment_7778933
