Admin Bar Not Showing Up & Pages Not Found

    Hi there!

    I recently installed WordPress on my new domain completed the tutorial for giving WordPress it’s own directory. Let me mention that I have done this hundreds of times over the years and have never had a problem.

    However, this time around, the admin bar won’t show up while I’m viewing my site even though I have it in the settings TO SHOW. Also, when I’m writing a new blog post, I cannot preview my post. It says, “Page Not Found”. After it finally publishes, it shows perfectly. But previewing? Not found. :/

    I tried changing my permalinks and I can’t figure out what’s the issue with these two problems.

    I appreciate any help thrown at me! lol!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Can we see the site using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    Sure. I have deactivated all plugins and activated the default 2014 theme. You can view it now 🙂

    This topic can be closed. I don’t know what happened, but everything started working after a week of not touching my blog. Maybe it just had to settle in? I don’t know. >_<
