# Admin Backend gone

 * This is my second full fresh WP install that is messed up now and I don’t know
   what casues this. After the first time I made a fresh install with new database,
   and now some days later the same bullshit!
    My admin panel is just gone, the 
   scripts and CSS are gone. No functionality. I did nothing but updating plgins
   and then it crashed. I tried various things
 *     ```
       define( ‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );
   
       define( ‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true );
       ```
   
 * in wp-config
 * and
 * `error_reporting( E_ALL | E_STRICT );`
 * in load-styles.php but nothing helped.
    I am so fed up of this crap.

 * But I have no Problems in loggin in, the backend does not load and has no function.
   
   Renaming the theme folder via FTP has no effect at all.

 * Renaming the plugins flder has no effect too.
    Going nuts here. Same bug 2 times
   in a row with 2 fresh installs and I can’t do nothing. Fresh install again? I’d
   switch to another CMS then.

 * This does not work neither
 * 1) Via FTP or your host’s file manager, navigate to the wp-contents folder (directory)
   
   2) Via FTP or your host’s file manager, rename the folder “plugins” to “plugins.
   hold” 3) Login to your WordPress administration plugins page (/wp-admin/plugins.
   php) – this will disable any plugin that is “missing”. 4) Via FTP or your host’s
   file manager, rename “plugins.hold” back to “plugins”

 * – Please check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message
   and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider
   to help you with that.
    – If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find 
   any helpful info in the error logs, try [Enabling debugging ](http://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress)
   and post the results.

 * I made my way through the partly working screwed up chaotic mess what should 
   be the backend. Managed to disable all plugins, uninstalled most and got the 
   backend working again. But it was no fun dealing with the broken UI. All OK now.
