# Admin and Access Help

 * Hey There!
 * I was hired by [Aria Integrative Health](http://ariaintegrativehealth.com) to
   work on their website, making small changes here and there. The only login for
   their WordPress has no abilities enabled other than writings posts, making pages,
   and creating forms. I cannot alter themes or menus, add plugins, etc. Obviously
   the login they gave me is not an Admin role, but I also cannot see what the role
   is. They swear it is the only login they have, or that was created. Any help 
   to what is going on? Is it possible someone accidentally changed the main role
   to a sub role? Thanks!

 * Is it a [Multisite](http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network) installation?
   Often, [Admins](https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities) do not necessarily
   have the roles as Super Admins. They will have to double-check your Role credentials
   for a Multisite.
 * Sometimes, plugins are installed to facilitate Roles. If you can access FTP I
   would look to see if there are any Role management plugins installed. You may
   also look into the [mu-plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/Must_Use_Plugins)
   folder if it exists.
 * If you have access to the database, I would confirm to see if you are indeed 
   an Admin.
 * Other than that, someone will have to re-issue new credentials or a database 
   query will need to be performed on your username/email address.
 * Don’t worry, sometimes this happens 😉
