Hey,

i have noticed this behavior in the access log:

“POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wcas_async_product_update&nonce=b507a6291b HTTP/1.1” 499 0 “https://pinkybreak.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wcas_async_product_update&nonce=b507a6291b” “LptHfXLS69bk” 0.901 1 NGINX – “WORDPRESS URL” responsive

This entry sometimes appears 2-3 times per second over minutes. This causes the CPU load to be extremely high.

Is this caused by the Ajax Search Plugin? I use the Premium Version.

I have deactivated the plugin for now. The entries from the access log are no longer there.

But I would like to use it.

Is there any way to prevent the many queries of admin-ajax.php?

This issue is related to the Pro plugin version. We’ve fixed it via Pro support.
