# admin-ajax.php 403 error

 * I have an ajax login on a client’s site that was working fine until now.
    After
   the upgrade to 4.8.3 on some machines the ajax login call started to return a
   403 error, while for others it continued working perfectly.
 * Now after emptying cache files I haven’t been able to reproduce the error on 
   any machine for the last hour, but it is still kind of unnerving.
    On machines
   that misbehaved, /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php still returned 0 when called directly.
 * Anyone had similar issues? Any ideas what might have caused this?
