I am not too familiar with WordPress, but am an experienced Web Designer with many years of coding experience. I was hired by a client to alter their WordPress template.
So, I'm working with the Magazine Basic template, and the client would like me to alter the width of the main div. I thought I could just go into the .css file and alter the dimensions, but apparently, the width is fixed. The template provides two options: either 800px wide or 1024px wide.
I need to make this page 900px wide.
Looks like there is a block of code dynamically generated in the header of the php file. If I can get to that, I may be able to hack around the parameters and customize the page width.
