# Adjusting sidebar width

 * I’m using the Aspire theme, and I’ve begun modifying it.
 * I reduced the sidebar from its default 2-column layout to a single column of 
   info, but now due to CSS spacing parameters there’s an empty column in the sidebar
   area.
 * This throws off the layout of the site.
 * When I try to adjust the widths attached to #sidebars, #sidebar-left or #sidebar-
   right it either completely hides the existing column or kicks it down to the 
   bottom of the page.
 * I’m not very CSS literate and I’m not having any luck figuring this out; help
   please!

 * I’m having the same issue. I want widgets and ads in the right sidebar. I toyed
   with the width settings and all of a sudden nothing will appear in the right 
   sidebar. If I adjust the site to have a left sidebar, it appears fine regardless
   of the width. So strange. I would like a right sidebar because the left sidebar
   isn’t doing it for me visually.
