I see that there is a seeing in Woocommerce that allows me to adjust the cropping of thumbnails. This works fine in that whatever changes I make are reflected in the main shop page that lists my products.

However, I notice that when I look at my list of products /Woocommerce / Products, there’s a small thumbnail that seems to crop the image so it’s essentially zoomed into the center. No changes I make to the Woocommerce media settings can change this.

This has come up because however these thumbnails are being generated (in terms of the cropping) is the identical image that shows up with various swatch plug-ins that I’m using.

Is there a setting somewhere that I can change, or even a template I can be directed too? I would like all thumbnails (small, medium and large) to show the entire image, even if it’s very small.

I see some references to small / med / large image sizes but I can’t find them (though this may be because my theme doesn’t enable this feature? )

Please let me know if any of this isn’t clear.

    Thanks!

I did manage to find the Media Settings to change thumbnail, medium size and large size dimensions. But this didn’t seem to make a difference.

Do I need to regenerate images after changing these settings for this to reflect on existing photos? And are these the same thumbnail settings that most plug-ins use to generate swatches in product listings?

    Thanks.

Hi @lychee128. Yes, after changing the default sizes for images in your store, the next step is to regenerate images. I hope that you have managed to try this and resolved the issue.
