[resolved] Adjust slide image to cover background (2 posts)

    Hi Stefan,

    Currently, my slide images appear within a margin showing the background behind it. What CSS is required to have the stretched slide image completely cover the background and thus fill the complete width of my theme sheet?

    Hi Bliving,

    If you have the 'Fit image into slide' setting set to 'Yes' and you're talking about the margin in between slides, you can remove that by creating a custom stylesheet. Find out how to`in the <a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/slideshow-jquery-image-gallery/faq/">FAQ section</a>.

    When customizing the stylesheet, you'll see the following line:

    .slideshow_container .slideshow_slide { margin-right: 2px; }

    Remove the 'margin-right: 2px;' value so that the line looks like this:

    '.slideshow_container .slideshow_slide { }'

    Then save the custom stylesheet and set your slideshow to use it.

    Best regards,
