Addthis Widget showing only on Front Page

  • The widget still acts like it exists, but as it shows in the code below, there is nothing in the href tags.

    <div class="art-widget widget atwidget" id="addthis-widget-2" ><div class="art-widget-content"><div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_default_style addthis_32x32_style" ><a class="addthis_button_preferred_1"></a><a class="addthis_button_preferred_2"></a><a class="addthis_button_preferred_3"></a><a class="addthis_button_preferred_4"></a><a class="addthis_button_compact"></a></div></div></div>

@galyn: It’s normal. I can have a look at your site to check if it’s working fine.

Just to be clear, I’m using the addthis plugin widget in the footer of my site… and normal is the front page showing the buttons and having content between the anchor tags, but any other page/post not showing any buttons and having no content between the anchor tags?

The site is not ready to go live just yet, otherwise I’d be happy to link you to it. I’ll post the link when I’ve got everything else ready.

Ok. Please update here or send it srijith[at]addthis.com. I will check and let you know what’s wrong.

My site has also started doing this! AddThis only shows on the front page. All other pages the AddThis has disappeared.

This was working for years before now, so something has changed.

Hey Alex, I can see the issue in the site. Let me check for the reason. I will update you guys here soon.

    It’s Jetpack!!

If I disable it then the AddThis widgetes come back on all the other pages.

Glad that you figured it out!! Now that we know it’s Jetpack, I will try to find what’s the conflict. This might be troubling more users.

I’ve confirmed as well that it is Jetpack. Disabled the plugin and the AddThis widget shows on all pages. Good luck finding the conflict.

Jetpack sharing is the culprit. Verified the issue exists with some other plugins as well. Disabling Sharing in Jetpack will help.

Is there a way around this other than disabling Jetpack?

Also waiting for a fix for this as I am interested in keeping the jetpack modules that are causing the problem.
