AddThis together with ACF plugin (4 posts)

    Hello there,
we are using AddThis plugin together with a plugin called ACF for the content management and it seems that AddThis embed code is always also displayed for ACF content fields. It doesn't happen on a page with no AddThis code but once its displayed, it shows up also in ACF fields (footer etc.). Is there please a way how to embed the code only once or embed it manually to each page (single.php, page.php,...)?

    Example of our problem: http://www.soundkings.nl/studio/introductie/

    Thanks, Jakub

@Machi, I am not sure whether I understood your issue correctly. When I checked your page, it looked fine for me. If you want to embed the code manually, yes you can by editing the theme files. I can assist you on it. Please let me know here.

I am also having this issue as well when using the Advanced Custom Fields plugin in combination with Addthis. It seems that everywhere a ACF field is called a instance of the addthis widget is duplicated all across the page. Machi's sample page shows this issue in his footer.

@srijith.v, is there a workaround? How would you go about resolving this issue without editing core plugin files?

    Thanks, Josh

@bgosh: Yes, I noted it now! Let me check how ACF works. Usually addthis button is triggered when the content for the page/post is generated.

Let me try to reproduce it and will get back to you guys with a fix as soon as possible.
