• Thanks Josh for spending the time to create WP Edit — I can only imagine how devastated you must have felt when you realized the changes in WP 3.9 would sunset your Ultimate TinyMCE! Thank you for 3 years of a wonderful experience w/ the Ultimate and for holding my hand through many issues!

I can’t believe how many people are beating you up because they lost the original free plugin — bet none of them would pour 6 months of work into trying to re-create a new beginning — for free! Just saying…
They obviously didn’t read any of the notes you put into the WP Edit documentary, button by button, regarding future additions you have planned for the free version! To be resentful because you can use the free platform to get visitors to your paid version is, well, just plain jealousy at its finest. Frankly, I’m glad the system works that way — it does some of my searching for me by giving me handy links to other options. Geesh!

Thanks for the clear instructions regarding how to transist from the old to the new without wrecking sites — it really helped, and I had it installed on at least a dozen sites for clients.

Again, I thank you for maintaining the free version, it helps. I love having the font family, sizes, and headline text options w/o having to code! And from what I read, the free version will support shortcodes, you just need to check out the documentation to get the list of what shortcodes work. Ok, so it’s not a handy drop down list — boohoo. It’s free for crying out loud! It’s not that hard. The world changes — we have to adapt.

And to all you potential new customers looking at this plugin or the pro version know this: Josh is a man of integrity. He doesn’t do anything halfway. If it’s broken, he fixes it — and often it’s way beyond the call of duty. He answers EVERY SINGLE COMMENT and tries to help — not many developers will donate their time that way. The bad reviews he’s received from people who just had their bottle taken away are totally undeserved.

I just wish I could vote more than once — it’s a great little editor for what it does.
