• This plugin is good for social sharing however even on pages where you do not use this, it still appears in the request and adds 1.5s to load time while also lowering your score for that page. This is very important if we want to get paying clients and to show them that we build quality websites.

Simply diagnose the waterfall in gtmetrix, such high delays added to load times that are unnecessary. Even when the plugin is removed they still linger there.

I do my best to make the front page of any website load in less than a second, and other pages to load within 2 seconds. This plugin is a blight to that where speed is essential, score is important and even more so for user experience where unused code shouldnt use up server and client resources and client time while being impossible to remove.

No, the plugin doesn’t add to loading time like that at all. AddToAny loads asynchronously, non-blocking, and loads from edge locations around the world to be fetch instantly.

while also lowering your score for that page

Such third party ‘speed score’ tools are not the end-user’s experience and are notorious for inaccurate & misleading reports. Use your web browser’s developer tools to measure speed and see real world results.

No, the plugin deactivates & deletes just as it should. An out-of-date site cache will prevent site changes from appearing, so clear the site’s cache(s) after making changes to a site.

I highlighted here https://imgur.com/a/JW420De . 5 facebook requests, 3 of which are hanging up the fully loaded time by 1s. Im trying to achieve sub 1s load times and so far i havent found any other plugin that uses this on the site.

Those Facebook requests have nothing to do with the AddToAny plugin.
