Adds bloat to your site

    Gutenberg / the block editor already adds enough bloat. This plugin contributes even more to that, adding at least 4 stylesheets.

    “SimpleTOC – Table of Contents Block” by Marc Tönsing does a much better job, in my opinion.

    This plugin does have a lot of nifty options, that those of you not concerned about your site’s performance may be interested in having.

    Thank you for your feedback. I completely understand your concerns regarding performance and page bloat when using multiple stylesheets.

    I recommend switching to our Essential Blocks plugin, which is our most updated solution. Essential Blocks includes a highly optimized Table of Contents (TOC) block, and you can selectively enable only the TOC block while disabling all other blocks you do not need. This allows you to maintain lightweight page performance without unnecessary bloat.
