Support » Fixing WordPress » address (URL) in General Settings

  • Resolved Dimitris73

Hello. I hope someone can help me with this…

I’m building a website on my hard drive.
    In General Settings I put

    WordPress address (URL): http://(my domain).gr
Site address (URL): http://(my domain).gr/(subfolder name)

When I pressed “Save Changes” I was redirected to the corresponding url that the page would be in if the site was already on the remote server (that page does not exist).
Any link of the cpanel directs to the url on the remote server.
Furthermore, the actual site cannot find the css files (I suspect not only them). I guess it is searching for them on the internet.
I tried to put the old urls but that doesn’t work…
I get redirected to the internet.
Mabee I should modify some php file on my hard disc manually.

    Could somebody help please?
