    Hi guys,

    I have a directory multisite with multiple sites under “domain.com/name”. Now I would like to add additional sites under “domain.com/stores/nameofstore”

    I know I can do this with a category called” stores”, but is there any other way I can accomplish this ?

    Or would it be possible to create another directory like dir/blogs to dir/stores?

    Sorry, if this a newbie question,but hope I get some answers anyway!

  • Edit on my previous post.

    I guess I cannot create a subdomain on my subdirectory, but can I do it the other way around.

    Create: “subdomain1.domain.com”, “subdomain2.domain.com” and then create subdirectories within both these subdomains

    Probably easy, but I cannot figure out how to do this, so any help would be appreciated.

    i’m pretty sure it doesn’t work that way. i think you can have domain.com/store_a, domain.com/store_b etc

    or a site that might list all of the stores on the network domain.com/stores and from there via links visitors can find domain.com/store_a or domain.com/store_b etc

    You can use a MultiNetwork plugin to do this:

    Create: “subdomain1.domain.com”, “subdomain2.domain.com” and then create subdirectories within both these subdomains

    Thanks guys for your replies.

    @theotherlebowski
    Already did that and it works fine, but need more than this!

    @ipstenu
    Thanks, but I guess you’re referring to jjjacoby’s WP Multi-Network
    plugin, which doesn’t seem to work anymore and no longer maintained.
    To my knowledge, its the only plugin, which can do what I want.
    Have you got any other suggestions ?

    J-trip’s plugin actually works. There’s also http://wpebooks.com/networks/ (which costs a little money)

    It Works!

    Thanks
