    Hello,

I have succesfully installed the ActivityPub-plugin on some of my WordPress-Blogs. It runs fine and out-of-the-box. Thank you!

There are some other plugins around, which seem to support / enhance federation: NodeInfo(2), WebFinger, host-meta.

Is it recommended to add these plugins or does ActitityPub as a standalone-plugin provide all relevant information?

    Yours, regenpfeifer

ActivityPub comes with all necessary features like WebFinger and NodeInfo, but the implementation is very basic. If you want to have a full flavored WebFinger and NodeInfo support, you should install the mentioned plugins, but it should work without.

If I implement a feature in one of the additional plugins that might be relevant for ActivityPub, I will add an information on the AP settings site.

I hope this anwers your question 🙂

Thank you, @pfefferle, I have tested ActivityPub and it fulfills all my needs.

ActivityPub is a really great plugin providing Fediverse support for WordPress. Thank you very much for your work!
