 * Hi, i’ve recently changed over to WordPress and i absolutely love it. I used
to design and code custom CMS’s for each project.
 * The one downfall or downside i am experiencing with WordPress at the moment is
the lack of Additional Fields when creating a page. WordPress only allows you
   to add Title and Description.
 * For example, when using my own custom CMS, i can Title, Description, Short Description
AND other Additional Fields depending on what i need to display. How can i set
up WordPress so that i can add an Additional Field for Short Description, thanks
   in advance for your help…

 * I agree that it is a bit odd that Pages have so few fields. [add_post_type_support()](http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_post_type_support)
will get you a lot of fields. Beyond that, you can make all the [custom meta fields](http://codex.wordpress.org/Custom_Fields)
   you want.
