# Adding Widgets into theme

 * Hi,
 * I am trying to create a website using the theme sydney. The theme has a lot of
   widgets i could use. But the problem is i dont know how to add them into the 
   theme home page. I tried to do it through the Appearance–widgets, and it says
   that to get it displayed i will have to add some services from the admin area.
   I dont know what this means. will be very grateful if anybody can help.
 * (I have no knowledge of creating websites :P)

 * Did you check the template you are using on the Home page? Sometimes you need
   to use a specific template to get the layout to work right?

 * Thank you Etheisen. I just got the theme activated and when i tried to add it,
   thats where i got stuck.

 * Yeah, I don’t think the home page can have widgets added to it based on what 
   I am seeing. You’ll need to check with the theme creator and see if they have
   any documentation.
