adding widgets and plugins

  • hi , when i add plugins and widgets to a theme if i change the them is there a way of saving them ?
    or transfering the set widgets to the new theme thansk ben

    Your plugins shouldn’t be affected by a change in theme unless you edited the theme to include any plugin-specific code. Your widgets may be affected if the new theme has different titles for its sidebars.

    tx so how do you add new/extra pages?
    like 4 posts on one page then a new post tiyle and page if you see what i mean?

    You can set the number of posts per page in Admin/Settings/Reading. It’s a global setting, so it will affect all post listing pages (front page, category listings, archives etc). WP will then break the post lists down into multiple pages automatically. To over-ride this on a per list type basis, you’d need to do some template editing.

    cheers most sites have a thumbnail tutle and description or strt of post which when pressed link to a full pots page do you know how to do this ?

    currently the whole post is on the home page tx
