Support » How-To and Troubleshooting » Adding Video – file size limitations

I’m creating video clips for my website. Tried using them on YouTube but YouTube cuts off the audio. So now I’m just trying to add my clips to my own site.
When I upload a video, first it says
This file is too big. Your php.ini upload_max_filesize is 2M.
My hosting company changed it to 100M for me
Now, when I try to upload the 8MG video, I get this:
This file is too big. Your php.ini upload_max_filesize is 100M
I’m frustrated and could sure use some direction. Yes, I have gone through the help forums and will continue to do so. Have tried multiple player plug-ins as well, but nothing is working right.
Same thing happened to me, I upload them with ftp, and it worked.

Can’t get them to play, though.
I think I need step by step directions….
I have an mp4 file I would really like to play…. It’s uploaded via ftp, and it’s sitting in my upload(Media) folder…. but now, to get it to play….
ok, now how do you want to play it?
may help you….it lets WP see files you uploaded using ftp
or, a plugin (like vipers video) can let you play media files by url
