• I want to add links to my terms of service and privacy policy page to my footer, probably under the Flare Themes link. From the research I’ve done, I’m assuming I have to put some code in to the footer.php, but I’m not sure what code to put.

I’m using Truly Minimal theme, and my site is http://www.dontdareblink.com.

  • I can’t find your theme listed in here
    http://wordpress.org/themes/search.php?q=Truly+Minimal

If it’s a commercial theme, you should go straight to its dedicated support forum. Anyway, most commercial themes offer option to do that kind of stuff already, try looking under theme settings.

Would it be helpful if I shared the current code already in my footer.php?

Have you asked the theme developers? If you need support, you may want to consider using a theme from the repository on this site:

    http://wordpress.org/themes/

(Those are the themes supported here.)

Hopefully it will be more helpful. It should be a simple line of code.

Daffny – how did you import your truly miminal theme from wordpress.com to wordpress.org? It would be much appreciated if you could give me some insight on this as I cannot find Truly Minimal on wordpress.org and I’m want to transfer my site. Thanks!

@wolsoner – not all themes on .COM are on .ORG. And even when they are – they are usually not identical as .COM modifies themes for use on the .COM network.

That particular theme is evidently here:

    http://www.flarethemes.com/theme/trulyminimal/

Do note that these forums only support themes from the repository on this site, so if you use another theme, be sure it’s supported by the developers.

Or find a theme (from here: http://wordpress.org/themes/ ) that’s similar and start learning how to make modifications as you like. you’ll probably be happier if you can get help on these forums :).
