# Adding to a Stylesheet

 * I don’t want to add a stylesheet, I want to add _to_ an already existing stylesheet.
   Is there anything in the Codex on that.

 * The only thing common across every single theme’s style.css file is the syntax
   of CSS. Everything else is up to how the author codes. That’s probably why there
   isn’t a Codex article on it

   your tweaks won’t be overwritten when updating the theme. Here are some guides
