Events are in the site’s timezone but you can explicitly show the timezone by using specifying a time format that includes the timezone (which is ‘e’).

For the fullCalendar shortcode, for example,

    [eo_fullcalendar timeformat="g:ia e"]

Great, thank you! That does work.

Now a second question. I know that goes off of what is selected in the WP General Settings. Is there a way to select a certain time zone for an event?

For instance, the organization has events across the US, so the time zone should reflect which zone they are in (PST, MST, CST, EST, etc).

Is there an option to select that in this plugin?

Unfortunately not, you could use store the timezone as post meta using the custom fields, and then display the date (or over-rides its timezone – see http://php.net/manual/en/datetime.settimezone.php ).

But internal date handling of events is all done via the blog timezone, and there isn’t the option to specify a different one for specific events.
