 * I want to add “paid for by committee to re-elect” at the bottom next to the site
   nmae. Where in this code would I put it so it shows up?

 * And you MUST make a child theme first – otherwise all of your changes will be
   lost when the theme is updated.

 * You must have some unusual themes in that case – typically, theme files are replaced
   when the theme is updated. But the choice is yours.
