 * ive been looking for a solution but havent found one for some reason.
 * whats the simplest way of adding a wordpress tag to a post/page. Im kind of confused
   by the whole terms/taxonomy thing.

 * sorry, it seems my original request wasn’t very clear.
 * im basically writing up a plugin that takes a csv file and puts the the contents
   into a post (title, content, and meta tags). there is also field in for each 
   entry that specifies wordpress tags. I need to programmatically associate a post
   with a tag from the csv entry and i find it really confusing at the moment with
   the whole term/taxonomy thing.
 * any code snippets would be welcome
