[Resolved] Adding Tabs As Categories

  • Hey,

First I would like to thank you for such an amazing theme, it is exactly what I was looking for.

However, I am having problems creating categories as pages.
    Here is my website -http://blurrtube.com/

The orange long bar on the top, is the place I would like to have my categories so when the viewer comes, they can click on it and see the vidoes in that category.

I have tried doing this by creating menus, but your theme only allows one menu when I have actually 5 categories.

Please tell me how I can do this.

    Thank you.

Actually you can add as many categories to menu as you want, not just one. You can even arrange them to have sub-menus visible on hover. Here’s full tutorial on how to create menus.

    Thanks for the quick reply

It allows me to create more than one menu, however, on the left where it says “theme locations” it only allows me to select ONE from the main menu. For example, if I change that to “funny videos” all my menus turn to funny videos only allows one tab as you can see on my website right now.

Also by the themes location it says “Your theme supports 1 menu. Select which menu you would like to use.”

Alright so I have done much further research. In fact hours of it. Unfortunately, I am still unable to create categories at the top. The category ONLY appears when I go to theme locations and select which category. However, I can only select ONE category. If I create a new menu for a new category (Tab on the top bar), and then I try to change the theme location to the appropriate category, the previous tab will get deleted and replaced.

I am in need of help ASAP.

If anyone can help I’d really appreciate it.

UPDATE: So as you can see on my website http://blurrtube.com/

There are different categories on the top, but it does not go to the categories page..

Resolved: I just redirected the pages to the category pages..
