Absolutely, I think it’s a great idea and would be willing to help any way possible. Let’s continue the conversation via email, if possible. I am reachable via contact form: http://perishablepress.com/contact/ – Thanks!

    Hi Jeff, Prometheus,

    how are you?

I was wondering if there was any progress on the buddyblog- user submitted posts collaboration.
I am building a buddypress platform site , and am looking for a way for my users to share projects and their work process from inside their social profiles. The basic front Uploader Brajesh is using is a bit limited and I am already using the USP plugin- so any news on the progress of that integration would be great.

milenushka, I don’t think it is going to happen. Jeff, went a different direction with his plugin. I eventually went with the BuddyForms plugin to get this functionality. It is a paid plugin http://buddyforms.com/ with an free addon to get deeper integration with BuddyPress https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddyforms-members/

Sven, the developer offers excellent support and has been a developer within the BuddyPress community for a very long time. Highly recommended.

    Thank you Prometheus,

You have no idea how long I spent testing different plugins for this. I wrote to the the theme developer with a question, but perhaps you know already, can a user attach several images that will display in his post with buddy forms? This has been a major headache 🙂

Have a great weekend. Thanks again for your advice.

Yes, it does everything you need and integrates well with BuddyPress. It does add some overhead to your site, but if the functionality is important, it is worth it.
