The carousel at the bottom of the page shows images of individual homes that, when clicked, are supposed to rout the viewer to that home’s page. For some reason, when I add the link to the page, “Press” for example, the browser bar shows that the system is looking for a sub-folder that doesn’t exist. i.e; it’s looking for “amesgroupusa.com/homes/Press” in stead of “amesgroupusa.com/Press”. It’s adding the “home” sub-folder and it doesn’t exist.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @jlames01

This support is not related to our plugin but we try to solve this issue.

As I saw you create homes and where you designed.

To make this homes page as Static Front Page follows below steps:

Setting: go to Settings > Reading, then ‘Home page displays’.

    • Static Page setting: select a static page (instead of the default Your latest posts).
    • Home Page setting: in the ‘Home page’ list, select the page you want for Static Front(Homes) Page.
    • Posts Page setting: in the ‘Posts page’ list, select the empty page you created. Do not select any page with content, as it will not be displayed.
    • Save your settings by clicking the ‘Save Changes’ button.

Connect to your site home page: you should now see the Page you selected.

Let me know if your problem is solved.

    Thanks,
    Team DiviPeople

I’m not certain I understand and apologize as I thought this was a divi people forum and the carousel is a divi product. The “home page” I thought was my landing page; the first page people see when they go to my site. This “Homes” page is merely one of the other pages in my site. Wouldn’t designating the “Home Page” as you instruct make that “:Homes” page my landing page? Again, I apologize; I may be misinformed.
