# Adding static element to blog posts page?

 * Hi,
 * I’m developing a website under [http://www.wisewonky.com/wordpress/](http://www.wisewonky.com/wordpress/)
 * I’m happy with most of it but I want a text summary of my website on the home
   page, right beneath the header image. I want to do this so it only appears on
   my main page and not the comments section for example. How should I do this? 
   Please help. Many regards,
