# Adding SSL to WP Version 4.6

 * Yes I am trying to install an SSL on my blog and I need help. Not familiar with
   word press that much but I am willing to learn. I know you have to mess with 
   the htaccess file, but when I did that it gave me a 505 error. Can someone please
   help? WP is located at [http://www.kdtechnology.tech/wp](http://www.kdtechnology.tech/wp)

 * You don’t need to do anything in .htaccess if you don’t want to, just follow

    Thanks for your fast response. I did what the manual said and I am still
   having an issue. Go to [https://www.kdtechnology.tech/wp](https://www.kdtechnology.tech/wp)
   and you will see it is there but it is throwing up a caution triangle on my side.
   I am using Fire Fox

   to create?

 * Is it possible that you only see this when logged in? Try logging out to check.
