 * For reasons that I do not understand, pages does not work on my website. Is it
   possible to put Simple eCommerce on posts. That would include products, cart,

 * Simple ecommerce will work but you will run into other problems in the future.
   
   So better fix the problem first.
 * Ask your hosting to fix it or reset everything.
