I have two custom roles: Admin, and Manager. Admins can publish and edit pages and do some things in the backend. Managers can only do some things with my forms database from the front-end. But I need to assign a “Manager” role to some of my “Admins.” When I do this on your “Capabilities” page for individual users, the Admins who are also Managers lose their ability to publish and edit posts, even though they are still Admins. This seems like a bug to me.

  • I updated to latest version to see if that would resolve the issue. It did not. Custom role “Admin” still cannot edit or publish pages/posts if they are assigned custom role “Manager.”

Apologies. This was being caused by another plugin. Yours works fine. 🙂
