Couldn’t find another post that answered this specifically. I see widgets for search and featured properties but I can’t figure out how to add them.

I tried a test property but the page template only has Default, nothing with a sidebar option. It mentions you can add custom layouts, but I don’t know where to get those from and wouldn’t know how to make one myself.

I also can’t figure out how to edit the auto-generated archive page to include widgets like you show on http://demo.wp-listings.com/listing-shortcode/. My guess from another post is that search on archives is not a feature yet.

Thanks for any leads, the plugin is AWESOME!

Widgets can be added to any available widget area you have under Appearance > Widgets.

The layout is dependent on your theme. If your theme has a sidebar, it will call it using the get_sidebar() function on that archive page template or single listing template.

You can create your own custom templates, or for single listings, we have a few templates available for purchase on agentevolution.com.

Check. Thanks. Don’t think one of my themes had a sidebar so I was stumped.
