 * I have been unable to find documentation on how to add items to the screen options.
   For instance, How would I add categories to pages editor. Categories shows on
   one site but none of the others.

 * In reading my post it is obvious that I am unclear. I apologize. Under screen
   option tab a window pops up with “show on screen”. It contains different check
   boxes in for instance “posts” and “pages” In the post one on one of my sites 
   it has a check box for categories. I would like to be able to make that same 
   box appear on “pages” I’ve read George Plumley’s WordPress but it sort of glosses
   over the subject.

 * Okay. Let’s forget about pages as I can also make them a post and assign them
   to a category as a work around. How do I add any other little box items I might
   want to show up in screen options?

 * I am having the same problem. The Categories option doesn’t show up on my screen
   options for my pages. I have 3 pages that will show blog posts, but I want each
   to show only a specific category of posts (Which I have done on other wordpress
   sites) but for some reason I’m missing a bunch of screen options.
