Sorry, I am a complete novice at this and just started building my site at http://ottawahospitalnegligence.org/ a couple of days ago. It’s a free site with the Blaskan theme. I discovered after the fact that I cannot use plugins with free WordPress and I’ve been trying to figure out how to add an RSS feed and social media share buttons. I want readers to be able to follow my posts and too share what they find via Facebook, Twitter etc. Is it even possible on a free site? Sorry to be such an idiot and thanks for any help.

what do you mean when you say “free site”?

I don’t know all the terminology yet so you’ll have to forgive me. I mean that my site is hosted by WordPress. I do not upload anything to a server.

I just discovered that the RSS feed and social sharing buttons are exactly where they should be but are only visible on IE not on Firefox.

this support forum is for wordpress.org

And wordpress.org is not in a business of providing hosting.

So, by chance, is your site on wordpress.com?

The reason I ask, wordpress.com and woedpress.org are two different things. easy to get confused.

If your site is on wordpress.com, here is their support forum: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/
