I have been looking around to try and find how i would add recent posts, and comments to my footer? I understand that there is a plugin, but i don’t really want to use that.
The footer will be split in to three columns, one will have recent posts, another recent comments, and the third i will leave open until i find something useful to fill it with.

Hi Everyone
