    Store URL: http://www.streetlyfireandfireplacecentre.co.uk/products-page/complete-packages/
    WordPress version: 3.6.1
    WP e-Commerce version: 3.8.12.1
    Gold Cart version:
    Theme: Classy by wpexplorer

I did this: i added a product image as shown step by step on the getshopped website.

I expected WP e-Commerce to do this: just add the image to the product page, thus when clicking on the thumbnail, the image would expand.

Instead it did this: although the image was added successfully and when you click the image it does expand, HOWEVER, the image has also been added as the featured image, and as you can see is displayed at the top of the page.

    any help guys? thanks… 🙂

Your theme (Classy), probably on it’s single page is set up to show the featured image at the top of the page. You can just delete it from your theme unless you’re using it somewhere else which it doesn’t look like you are. The relevant code is inside a div called page-header.

thanks nicknack, i have used the “inspect element” function and can see where the image is, if i delete the image line in the inspect element mode, your right, it just removes the image, but i am trying to find which php file within the wordpress directory this code is so i can delete it, any suggestions (ps, i’m not fantastic at code, i just create minor changes in existing code to get results).

    thanks again in advance… 🙂

Although looking here http://www.wpexplorer.com/classy-premium-business-wordpress-theme/ there are various custom post types so maybe your products page is using one with a header image and you can just use a more default page
