Use Post List or Query Loop blocks to show the posts into your content.

I am going mad though because when I use those blocks I am unable to select any tags at all. I can choose a category but not a tag. Any ideas please?

Do you have tags created already? Because I cannot reproduce the issue, I search for the existing tag and it renders easily to choose from.
Yes loads of tags. I have tried again including making a new post? Could a plugin be blocking something? I can select a category without problems.
If you have the Gutenberg plugin installed and activated, then deactivate that and then check if WP Block Editor also causing the same issue or not.
I haven’t got Gutenberg but I did have Genesis Blocks. Before I deactivated that I created a new post and tried tags then, it didn’t work. You could click a most used tag but couldn’t add one through the search box. I deactivated Genesis Blocks and returned to the draft post and I was able to add a new tag. However, when I tried on the post with the loop, it still showed the same issue.
Will you able to share some screenshots of sections and options you’re working on or a short screen video so that I can understand the issue properly?

Try using lowercase and don’t add extra space at the end
Rest api is working fine, I am seeing 19 tags with day keyword.
You can check the console in developer tools if there is any error and also check the network tab in developer tools and check what are you getting on rest api response when you type the words
Tried the lowercase and no space and it didn’t work. I haven’t used developer tools so I will do a search and get on with that. Thanks for the help.
