Adding posts in pages

  • Hi everyone!

I’ve read a lot of things about making a template page to display posts and downloaded a lot of plugin’s about this issue but either it wasn’t working or didn’t worked properly. I’m completely new at this, I don’t understand php and so I’m pissed off.

I just want to insert in a certain page of my website the categories to lead up to the blog posts or even all posts running, but just the excerpts – I’ve already tried plugins but they were showing text too clutered, one was working, but images were bad displayed…. I just want the list well ordered and to give easy access to a certain post… I don’t understand why the “blogroll” cannot be in a static page, or better, why is not possible to go to a page and see actually what are the posts in the blog.

I want this working because the website is for a company that uses static pages, but some content must be put at posts.

    Thank you in advance!
