# Adding plugin

 * I am trying to add a plugin via [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/add/)
   
   but so far no luck. Is has been a long time since I add my last plugin so I don’t
   actually remember the process. But I do remember that I receive response in 1
   day or so. But now, when I hit the “Send Post” there is no confirmation message
   displayed or any email sent. Is there any problem with the submission?

   post was spam, i’ve removed your thread from the spam list.

 * The plugin submission process seems very obscure and undefined.
 * It has taken 10 days for my submission to be enabled, and I have not received
   access to SVN. I am wondering whether I have mistakes or infringements in my 
   plugin?

 * This is getting frustrated actually.
    t31os_ said, I was blocked by Akismet. 
   then I created 2 different users just to make sure I can submit a plugin. But
   so far, after 3 different usernames and more than 10 plugin submission attempts,
   I haven’t got any result. No confirmation, no your plugin is not suitable message,
   nothing. I was worrying about bbPress would be going uncertain future, now I 
   am worrying about WordPress too. Can somebody give a response from the wordpress
   side?

 * Your forum posts do seem to be being picked up by Akismet. It’ll probably figure
   it out eventually. However I guess creating mutliple usernames and such doesn’t
   really help. Just give things time. I think the plugin submissions are manually
   checked.

 * Is there anything I can do with Akismet?
    I understand manual approval. But even
   the simplest forms have some kind of confirmation message after the submit. Thanks,
   we got the message, you are not suitable, etc. As an insider, maybe you should
   tell this issue to the others.

 * incirusa, it’s only your forum post that was caught up by Akismet, plugin submission
   as far as i’m aware is a seperate process and as mrmist said is a manual process.
 * I half wish i’d have never mentioned it, because you’d be none the wiser it had
   happened, sorry if i mislead you into believing this was related to your plugin
   submission, it was not..
