    Hi
    I’m a beginner when it comes to web design, so sorry if this is a silly question.
    i’m using the free version of Product Catalog.

    I have an issue where some of my products wont load the product page when i click on the thumbnail.
    After a lot of trial and error i found this is due to the photo. The product page and the link works fine if i dont assign a photo.
    The pictures in question display fine in the thumbnail and also elsewhere on my website.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Luke,

    1) If you try to upload a completely different image to “Yoga Mat – Tribe Warrior 6mm” (for example), does the same issue still occur?

    2) Are any of your products missing slugs? To check this, edit a product and scroll down to “Slug” under Product Details.

    So yes all the products have slugs which were automatically added.

    to answer 1) yes and no. Yes it is the same issue if i upload a completely new photo. however if i assign a photo that i have previously uploaded to my wordpress media library months ago, then there is no problem.
    but…… its not consistent, some previously uploaded photos work and some don’t.

    i thought it might have been something to to with the type of file or the size of the file, but they are all jpeg and making the file size smaller doesn’t seem to affect anything.

    Hi Luke,

    Within the last few months (i.e. within the time this issue began occurring), have you installed any new plugins? We’re asking in case there’s a conflict.

    One way to check this would be to deactivate all plugins except for Product Catalogue, then add a test product with an image. If it works then, then you can reactivate plugins one by one.

    Its actually been happening from day zero of installing the plugin.
    I don’t recall adding any other plugins since then, though i did change my hosting server last week, but its happening before and after that, so i dont think that is the cause.

    YES!!!!! it works without any other plugins.
    i wasn’t able to isolate the problematic plugin, after reactivating them one by one, the product continues to work fine after reactivating all plugins.

    I dont know how it happened, but it looks to have fixed itself.
