# Adding outside link into navigation

 * Hey my website is [http://www.famosomagazine.com](http://www.famosomagazine.com)
   and I am wanting to add the forum at [http://www.famosomagazine.com/forum](http://www.famosomagazine.com/forum)
   to the main navigation bar on the home page. I can find it when i got to page
   and click view source but I do not know which file to edit or how to exactly 
   add that outside link into the top navigation bar. Thanks for any help

 * I tried redirectify but it would not work, even after trying to change the coding
   a little. Any help or other ideas?

 * Well redirectify is a plugin. it did “NOT WORK” for me. I was wondering if there
   are any other plugins that redirect or any easy ways to add outside links into
   top navigation.

 * I use Redirectify to do exactly what you are wanting.
 * You install the plugin
    Activate the plugin Create a [Page](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages)
   called “Our Forum” After you save that page, edit that page and add the Custom
   Field key of ‘redirect’ and the value to be [http://www.famosomagazine.com/forum](http://www.famosomagazine.com/forum)

 * I did exactly that but ran into problems. The URL that is formed becomes like
   this:

 * So it seems to be doing something right, but where did I go wrong?
