# adding new posts or editing existing posts

 * Hi, yesterday, or the first time in many many months I had a problem with my 
   blog. I was unable to add a new post or edit an existing post. I can log in ok,
   and all ok when i go to ‘posts’ page [http://www.sacristies-of-the-world.com/wp-admin/edit.php](http://www.sacristies-of-the-world.com/wp-admin/edit.php),
   the page loads as usual.
    The prob then is when I go to ‘add new’ [http://www.sacristies-of-the-world.com/wp-admin/post-new.php](http://www.sacristies-of-the-world.com/wp-admin/post-new.php)
   as the page doesn’t load, it remains a blank white screen. I contacted my domain
   provider, UK2, who identified that the problem is with my facebook plugin version
   1.5.5 [http://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook/).
   UK2 told me I needed to get in touch with wordpress. I have tried deactivating
   then reactivating the facebook plugin. When it’s deactivated the ‘add new’ posts
   page loads up and I can post a blog. But, of course, the post doesn’t get added
   to my facebook page. Can anyone help? Today is my blog’s birthday, it’s one year
   old, so I would like to post a blog today that also populates my facebook page!
