• To anyone who can help,

If it helps, my website is http://www.rincoinc.com

I have added several new pages to my website recently (a few weeks ago now). I’ve also changed the order some pages are supposed to show up in on the menu. I have also changed the parent/child relationship of several pages. None of these are updating on the live site as I make the changes.

Currently in the back end I have a main menu title of “About All Pro Restoration”, this should have 4 sub-menu options (About RinCo Incorporated, Restoration Standards, The All Pro Difference & Job Opportunities). On the front end it only shows 3 and the fourth, Job Opportunities, is still showing as a main menu option. This was updated weeks ago (maybe even months now).

I also changed the order of the menu for “Services” and it should be in the order of Sewer Water Cleanup, Mold Remediation<More About Mold, Storm Water Intrusion, Fresh Water Cleanup & Extraction and Carpet & Tile Cleaning. But instead it is still showing in the old order of Carpet & Tile Cleaning, Fresh Water Cleanup & Extraction, Storm Water Intrusion, Sewer Water Cleanup & Mold Remediation<More About Mold.

Any insight or help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

How? Are you using a custom menu? Are you using any caching plugins?

I am using a downloaded template called Parabola. A very simple/standard template. Nothing about it is custom, other than it being a WordPress template.

    I have the following plugins:
    Akismet
    Google Analytics Dashboard for WP
    Limit Login Attempts
    SG CachePress
    Ultimate Coming Soon Page

The website worked fine until about April (I created it in November), which is probably about the same time I hired an SEO company that made a few updates to the website and about the same time I added the Google Analytics Dashboard plugin. You think its the plugin? Or do you think its something the SEO guys did?

Are you using a custom navigation menu?

And I think you’ll find that SG CachePress is a caching plugin. Try reading the documentation for that plugin and refreshing your cache.

The navigation menu is the same menu that came with the template. I don’t know if that makes it custom or not. I haven’t modified it in any way but I will make sure my SEO team hasn’t either.

I think the SG CachePress came with the template. I would believe it was a caching issue if I hadn’t already tried clearing the cache. Plus it is the same on my iphone, my iPad, both my desktop computers and my husband’s iphone. I have a hard time believing its a cache issue.

I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme (no theme from wordpress.org comes with a caching plugin), you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from wordpress.org here.

I have a hard time believing its a cache issue.

The cache would be on the remote server – not on your devices.

I was incorrect. The cache plugin comes from the host, SiteGround, not the template. I will reach out to them and see if they can help.

It is not a caching issue. The SG CachePress was never actually turned on. To be safe, SiteGround had me deactivate it anyway (even though it wasn’t tied to my CPanel) and they also deactivated all caching from the CPanel. Still having the same problem.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
