I can’t get the “program links to show up on the second site. I noticed on the first site, I have an option under tools on the dashboard called page links which is not on the second one. * THe theme is Clear Retina by Theme Horse. I’m not sure what you’ve been using to create the links. Do you have any plugins installed that might be adding that functionality? * If you’re just looking to add links to all your pages in the sidebar of your site you could just use a Widget. There are a couple ways to do it with widgets. * 1. The Pages widget will display all the pages on your site (excluding any pages you specify). This would be the fastest option if you wanted to display every page on your site. 2. The Custom Menu widget will allow you to use a custom menu (Created under Appearance > Menus) the same way you created a menu for the navigation bar below the header of your pages. This option requires a little more work to setup but gives you finer control over which pages are displayed and the order of pages. 3. My theme supports only one custom menu, and I am currently using that for the links on the header. * Is there a way to display the header links without using the custom menu? * [David Williamson](https://wordpress.org/support/users/davidwilliamson/) * (@davidwilliamson) * [13 years, 3 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/adding-navigation/#post-3434837) * You can actually use the Custom Menu widget regardless of how many menus are supported by the theme. * Basically what you’ll do is create a new menu in the Appearance > Menus page with whatever you’d like it to contain and save it. Don’t worry about the Theme Location box, you’ll want to leave that alone because you’re probably already using that to display your navigation menu. * Then on the Appearance > Widgets page you’ll add the Custom Menu widget to the sidebar and choose the new menu you selected from the Select Menu drop down box.
