Have you done something similar to the procedure below (example,if you want to add “.php” to the extensions allowed -and i don’t reccomend doing so!)
1. insert “PHP Source” as “Description”
2. insert “.php” as “Extension”
3. insert “application/x-httpd-php” as “Mime Type”
4. click Save
ok so maybe the problem that I’m having is that I think that this file type will be added to your list?
I did this exact php add example that you gave me and nothing seems to happen. how do I know if it got added?
I assume to remove the file type I just click on the minus next to where I added it?
the custom file types you add are located just below the “standard list”, each of them has a “minus” on the right side to let you remove what you have just added.
you can verify if your file types have been added -after having clicked the “save” button- simply re-opening the admin page (click on the link in the main menu) anche checking if you can find every item you haev added.
to remove a file type you have added you have to click on the “minus” button and than click the “Save” button.
Let me know if it’s all clear and if the plugin is working fine in your WordPress installation.
Thanks this is a wonderful plugin
